Shah is still looking to make a name for herself in the SCRL, having yet to visit victory lane despite having been completing in several series. Shah finished 12th in the first Caraway event, 4th in the second, 17th in the third, a career best 3rd in the fourth trip to Caraway and a 4th at Bowman-Gray. On race day, Shah would roll off from the final position and would try to gain a spot, but on the backstretch she was spun out by the #4 DMC Auto Exchange Chevrolet of Chase McDowell, as both drivers got minor cosmetic damage. Shah would remain in last during the caution laps and when the green came back out, she quickly knocked McDowell into the final spot. For McDowell his stay was brief, as the very next lap SCRLASTCAR Champion the #48 Wheelers Auto / Mr. Rooter Chevrolet of Jay Jefferson entered the battle for the first time and would trail for two laps when the #60 BC Brennenstuhl / LI Mod Manic Chevrolet of Dilan Ebrahimian into the final spot on Lap 11. But once again Shah's stay was short lived as the next lap the #28 Ramar-Hall / Haydt Excavating of Trey Wright would take the final spot. Had Wright not gained any spots over the last thirty laps, it would have been his first last place finish of his career. However, Wright was motivated as he passed Shah on Lap 31 and as much as Shah tried to gain spots, she was unable to over the last twenty laps.

The remaining Bottom Five were; 19th the #77 of Kapuel Ebai, 18th was the #28 of Trey Wright, 17th was the #48 of Jay Jefferson and 16th was the #15 of Jack Marks.

Throwback TRUCK: Caiden Irene's broken Camshaft gives him first last-place finish at Saugus; becomes first driver in series history to not complete a lap

Caiden Irene picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in the Season 1 Scott Irvin Chevrolet / Craftsman 200 at the Saugus Speedway when his #06 Ultra Custom Wheels Ford fell out with camshaft problems without completing any of the 20 laps.

The finish came in his 3rd career series start. Irene had made his debut in the series at Phoenix, finishing 36th, and in the next round at Phoenix he upped his finishing average by finishing 24th entering the series's shortest track they would ever compete on. Due to the length and shortage of pit stalls, the field was split, with the first twenty six drivers in points making it into the main event, while drivers 27th on down in points having to race in a ten lap LCQ(Last Chance Qualifier), with only the winner advancing to the main event.

On race day, Irene would roll off the field in 1st while starting last was the #88 Churchill Transportation Ford of Luke Rainey, but as the field rolled down the backstretch on the pace lap, Irene's truck began to smoke and slow, clogging up the field behind him as he tried to make it back to pit road, doing so without anyone hitting him. As the field took the Green, Irene's team looked under the hood, only to find that a camshaft had broken and decided to call it a night before it even began. Irene was officially listed as "out" by Lap 2, and became the first ever driver in series history to not complete a lap. Sebastian Torres would win the LCQ and later went on to finish 15th in the main race.

The remaining Bottom Five were filled by drivers who finished on the same lap as the race leaders; 35th went to the #21 Ortho Lawn & Garden Care Ford of Chakat Whitelion, 34th went to the aforementioned #88 of Luke Rainey, 33rd went to the #31 Performance Race Cars USA Chevrolet of Truttle and 32nd was the #75 Spears Manufacturing Chevrolet of Zachary Fitzwater.

Irene's career would be an uneventul one, but he would get redemption as exactly one race after his troubles, Irene was on the pole again in the LCQ at Mesa Marin, and would lead every single lap to score the win and would finish 7th in the main event. His last career start was a 22nd place finish at Phoenix in the season finale.

The Saugus's event would be the only one held at the track, as it was removed from the SCRL schedule in Season 2, just like in the real NASCAR season.

Euro Elite 2: Leroy Jones trails the field at Nurburgring after late spin; Chakat Silverpaw locks up SCRLASTCAR Championship

Leroy Jones picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 2 career in Round 12 at Nurburgring when his #8 Italicus Ford completed all 10 laps under power.

The finish came in his 12th career start. In the SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 2, it's the 1st for car 8 and the 7th for running at the finish. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 12th for the #8 and the 149th for running at the finish.

Leroy is a relative rookie when it comes to racing in the SCRL, but he has alot of pressure being the brother to 5 time SCRL race winner AJ Jones and was looking to make a name for himself in the newest SCRL Series. Leroy's career started off with a 7th at Monza, 10th at Brands Hatch, 7th at Spa, 12th at Hungaroring before scoring his career best, a runner up, to Turd Ferguson at Hockenheimring. A finish of 13th in the next round at Sebring and another runner up finish at Yas Marina motivated Leroy as the very next race, Round 8 at Catalunya, Leroy picked up career win #1. A 4th at Red Bull Ring followed the next round and a 4th at Monaco before Round 11 at Kyalami, Jones would impress the field once again, scoring win #2.

On race day, Jones Ferguson rolled off starting 15th while two-time last-place finisher the #28 Micromoney Ford of Turd Ferguson started in the final spot, but he wouldn't stay there long as the tricky three mile track turned out to be a struggle for several drivers including points leader Leroy, who spun out in Turn 5 and would trail the first lap, before one lap later, Ferguson did the same thing, spinning out in Turn 5. Ferguson would trail the field for the next two laps when current SCRLASTCAR Championship points leader, three time-last place finisher the #73 Knauf Ford of Chakat Silverpaw, who would take the final spot on Lap 5 and appeared on hir way to winning the championship by getting hir fourth last-place finish of the season.

However the battle wasn't over, as Leroy spun out for a second time, dropping back to last with two laps to go, and falling almost thirty seconds behind the race leaders and scored his first last-place finish of his career. Shockingly though, despite finishing last, Leroy scored enough points to win the drivers championship by 2 points over David Dryburgh, the closest points finish in SCRL history.

The remaining Bottom Five also finished on the same lap as the race leaders; 16th was the #9 SCM Medical Ford of Ace Horsebutt, 15th was the #31 of Mikail Kose, 14th was the #73 of Chakat Silverpaw and 13th was the #28 of Turd Ferguson.

Due to finishing in the Bottom Five, Silverpaw locked up the championship on the strength of having two more Bottom Five finishes over Zina Al-Samarai; it is Silverpaw's first ever SCRLASTCAR Championship.

After getting his first last-place finish in the series, Spurlytube rebounded in the next round at Riverhead finishing 5th. In his 17th career start, Spurlytube finally broke through, taking the lead with two laps to go and winning the series first race at Catamount, his first win in the Whelen Series and the 12th overall in his career. On race day, Spurlytube rolled off starting 20th while first Stafford last-place finisher the #50 SMG Motoring Chevrolet of Samet Ozkan started in the final spot for the second race in a row, but his stay would last only a few turns before two-time last-place finisher the #42 Patterson Farm / NAPA / Spafco Chevrolet of Eddie Wycombe and Spurlytube both spun out in Turn 3 bringing out the first caution with Wycombe trailing the field for the first two laps. While running under caution, Spurlytube's car began to smoke as he pulled to the apron of the track, into the pits and then into the garage, Spurlytube's team looked over the car and found that the header was broken, ending his night early.

The remaining drivers finished the race on the same lap as the race leaders; 24th was third New Egypt last-place finisher the #88 Buzz Chez Chevrolet / GT Vodka Chevrolet of Dexter Black, 23rd was Shangri-La last-place finisher the #09 Riverhead Building Supply Chevrolet of Kyle Hunter, 22nd was the #0 Stakey's Pumpkins / Jessup Chevrolet of Carter Friesen and 21st was the #71 Draco / Purple Spring / Fluidyne Chevrolet of Daniel Bouchard.

With one race left to go at Martinsville, the battle for the SCRLASTCAR Championship is down to two drivers, Danyal Gitirokh and Nick Kennedy. With Gitirokh having one more last-place finish, finishing last would give him the championship, but if Kennedy finished last, Kennedy would win by having more Bottom 5's. If anyone other then Gitirokh or Kennedy finishes last, the championship will go to Gitirokh.

Throwback BUSCH: Early wreck at Bristol gives Todd Kennedy first last-place finish

Todd Kennedy picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Wrangler Jeans Busch Grand National Series career in the Season 1 Southeastern 150 at the Bristol International Speedway when his #70 unsponsored Pontiac was involved in a multi-car crash after completing 4 of 20 laps.

The finish came in his 3rd start. Entering Season 1 of the Busch Series, Kennedy had alot of pressure on him being the brother of Nick Kennedy, who was a former champion and multiple time race winner in the SCRL. Todd's busch series career started off with a disappointing 28th at Daytona after being involved in one of the "big ones" ended his day after just seven laps. In the last round at Richmond, Todd scored his worst finish yet, a 30th.

Truttle rolled off 28th while the #42 unsponsored Pontiac of Marcus Saatchi started in the final spot. Details of the race have been lost to time, however it is known that on Lap 4 a wreck broke out in Turn 1 and Todd was unable to avoid the #04 unsponsored Pontiac of Eli Bright and damaged the radiator, ending his day just before Lap 5.

The remaining Bottom Five also struggled with the Bristol track; Finishing 41st was the #16 Bobby Cash Auto Parts Pontiac of Riley Spurlytube, the victim of a broken header on Lap 21. 40th was the #99 Washington Freightliner Pontiac of Benoit Lothaire-Irvine taken out on Lap 32, 39th was the #34 unsponsored Pontiac of Sebastian Torres, wrecked out on Lap 43 and finishing 38th was Richmond last-place finisher the #47 unsponsored Pontiac of Jesse Turner, retiring just two laps from the finish.

The SCRL Wrangler Jeans Busch Grand National Series would turn out to be the only place Todd would find success, as in his 13th career start, he started 24th at Charlotte, and moved into the lead with ten laps to go and held off Hank Willis for his first, and so far, only career SCRL sanctioned win.

Whelen Southern: Ty Dent gets first career last-place finish in series first race at Motor Mile; Jay Jefferson locks up SCRLASTCAR Championship one race early

Ty Dent picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Snap-On Tools Whelen Southern Series career in the Adams Construction / Star Country 150 at the Motor Mile Speedway when his #41 Ford completed all 52 laps under power.

The finish came in his 11th career start. In the SCRL Snap-On Tools Whelen Southern Series, it's the 1st for car #41 and the 10th for running at the finish. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 2nd for the #41 and the 148th for running at the finish.

Ty is one half of the Dent brothers who have competed in the SCRL, competing in the first ONL Classic Truck Series where, along with his brother TJ, both drivers scored their lone SCRL victories, with TJ winning at Charlotte and Ty winning the season and series finale at Homestead. Both brothers have competed in only a few series since then, with Ty focusing on his own racing league, which you can follow here.

Ty made his Southern Series debut at Caraway finishing 9th, before in the very next event Ty scored a runner up finish to Jay Jefferson. A finish of 8th and 10th in the next two Caraway events followed before a slump followed: a 13th at Bowman-Gray, 9th at Martinsville, 6th at Ace, 5th at Ace, 14th Caraway before finishing 16th in the last round at Caraway.

On race day, Ty would roll off starting 8th spot while for the second race in a row fifth Caraway last-place finisher the #04 WTQR / Foothill Ford of Joe Jefferson rolled off from the final position, this time Jefferson's stay wasn't long as by the end of the first lap, second Ace last-place finisher the #16 Diversified Metals Chevrolet of Chris Kyle, who would trail for the first two laps before first Ace last-place finisher the #2 Kleet Lumber / Reynolds Insurance Chevrolet of Carter Joey entered the battle on Lap 3, but he would stay there only two laps when the #041 Ty Dent Motorsports Dodge of TJ Dent took last on Lap 5. TJ would remain in last for two laps as well when he passed the #07 Patterson Automotive Group Pontiac of Keith Stevens into the final spot on Lap 8.

Stevens wouldn't be on last for long as on Lap 9 the #28 Ramar-Hall / Haydt Excavating of Trey Wright entered the battle and once again, he only held the final spot for two laps when he knocked Stevens back to last on Lap 12. Stevens this time struggled to keep up for eight laps, until finally making a move on Lap 20 when he knocked the #4 DMC Auto Exchange Chevrolet of Chase McDowell into last on Lap 21. McDowell would stay in last for four laps when Stevens fell back to last for a third time on Lap 26. Once again Stevens lost touch with the field for a few laps when Ty entered the battle for the first time on Lap 34.

Ty would find trouble himself keeping up as he trailed nearly two seconds behind the leaders, and for ten laps in the final spot before he knocked current SCRLASTCAR Championship leader two-time last-place finisher the #48 Wheelers Auto / Mr. Rooter Chevrolet of Jay Jefferson. Jefferson's stay would be brief when the very next lap Bowman-Gray last-place finisher #00 G. Lopes Construction Chevrolet of James Stabilito took last and appeared on his way to his second last-place finish, but a caution would come out setting up a Green, White, Checkered(GWC). When the green came back out, Stabilito trailed for the first lap, but in Turn 2, he passed Ty and with less then a half lap to go, Ty was unable to gain a spot and scored his first last-place finish of his career.

The remaining Bottom Five were; 19th the #4 of Chase McDowell, 18th the #00 of James Stabilito, 17th was the #28 of Trey Wright and 16th was the #2 of Carter Joey.

Entering the last race at Ace Speedway, no one is able to beat Jay Jefferson. Despite having only one more last-place finish, Jefferson would win the tie-breaker with most Bottom 5 and Bottom 10 finishes.

Euro Elite 1: Said Ismail last at Silverstone; four-way battle set for SCRLASTCAR Championship at Nurburgring

Said Ismail picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 1 career in Round 11 at the Silverstone Circuit when his #88 MSTRC Chevrolet completed all 5 laps under power.

The finish, which came in his 11th career start, was his first on the circuit since September 2, 2017, in Round 1 at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza where he fell out with camshaft problems after completing 5 of the 7 laps, 10 races ago. In the SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 1, it's the 2nd for car #88 and the 6th for running at the finish. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 13th for the #88 and the 145th for running at the finish.

Ever since becoming the first driver to trail the field in series history, Ismail has struggled to get a handle on the cars, finishing 11th at Brands Hatch, a career best 3rd at Spa, 19th at Estoril, 20th at Hockenheimring, tying his career best with another 3rd at Kyalami, 21st at Red Bull Ring, 14th at Catalunya, 13th at Hungaroring and a 15th in the last round at Monaco.

On race day, Ismail rolled off starting 18th while the #80 Monster Energy Ford of Tim Randolph started from the final spot. As soon as the green came out, Randolph quickly made his move in Turn 2 knocking the #72 Taco Casa Dodge of Devin Anderson into the final spot as Anderson would trail for the first two laps, and had he been unable to move up any, it would have been Anderson's first overall last-place finish of his career. Lucky for Anderson, he was able to make a move coming to complete the third lap when he knocked Ismail into the final spot. Ismail would try his hardest to move up over the final two laps but was unable to, setting up a four-way battle for the championship in the season finale.

The remaining Bottom Five were: 23rd was Circuit de Spa last-place finisher the #87 Frisby Prancer Dodge of Ryan Rush, 22nd was the #77 NAPA / Mohawk Dodge of Diego Yepez, 21st was the #31 Blackwells Auto Chevrolet of Marcus Saatchi and finishing 20th was the #75 Ray's Body Shop Dodge of Adrian Ford.

With one race to go at Nurburgring, the battle for the SCRLASTCAR Championship is down to three drivers; two-time last-place finishers Floyd Wilson, Ismail and Mark Owens. If any of the three pick up a last-place finish, they will lock up the championship. Should neither finish last, the tied breaker goes to Wilson with one more Bottom Ten compared to Ismail and two over Owens. The only other driver that could mathematically win the championship is Ryan Rush, if he finishes last at Nurburgring, he would win the championship by having one more Bottom Five then anyone else.

Turd Ferguson trails the field at Kyalami; Silverpaw and Al-Samarai set for championship battle at Nurburgring.

Turd Ferguson picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 2 career in Round 11 at Kyalami Circuit when his #28 Micromoney Ford completed all 11 laps under power.

The finish, which came in his 11th career start, was his first on the circuit since November 19, 2018, in Round 6 at Sebring where he completed all 7 laps under power, 5 races ago. In the SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 2, it's the 2nd for car #28 and the 6th for running at the finish. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 9th for the #28 and the 203rd for running at the finish.

After scoring his first last-place finish at Sebring, Ferguson has picked it up in the last few races with back-to-back 9th places finishes at Yas Marina and Catalyuna and back-to-back 11th place finishes at Red Bull Ring and in at Monaco in the last round.

On race day, Ferguson rolled off starting 15th while Red Bull Ring last-place finisher the #27 Whelen Chevrolet of Jimmy Potter started in the final spot. By the time drivers raced through Turn 1, the #9 SCM Medical Ford of Ace Horsebutt had taken the final spot and trailed for the first lap, by Lap 2 Ferguson entered the battle for the first time and lost track with the field, falling nearly four seconds behind by Lap 4, and on the very next lap, Ferguson knocked Horsebutt back to the final spot on Lap 6 and if they stayed how they were, it would have been Ace's first last-place finish in his career. However it was only one lap later that Ace passed Ferguson to last, and as much as he tried, Ferguson was unable to gain any spots in the remaining for laps of the race.

The remaining Bottom Five were; 16th was the #9 of Ace Horsebutt, 15th was the #27 of Jimmy Potter, 14th was the #11 Vriends Chevrolet of Chakat Lightingblaze and 13th was the #5 Orion Ford of Dale Jones.

With one race left to go at Nurburgring, the championship battle has come down to two drivers; Chakat Silverpaw and Zina Al-Samarai. Silverpaw and Al-Samarai both have three last place finishes, and if either one finishes last, they will score the championship. If Silverpaw finished in the Bottom Ten while Samari finished in the Bottom Five, Silverpaw would win with four extra Bottom Five. The only way Samarai can win the championship is if he finishes last, if anyone else finishes in the final spot, Silverpaw wins on way of the tie breaker.

Whelen: Late race flat tire gives Zachary Fitzwater 6th career last-place finish at Stafford

Zachary Fitzwater picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Icebreakers Whelen Series career in the Coca-Cola Fall Final at the Stafford Motor Speedway when his #59 Space Fitters / Ed Bennett Prop. Chevrolet completed 16 of 20 laps under power.

The finish came in his 27th career start, was his first on the circuit since September 4, the Icebreaker at the Thompson Speedway where he was involved in a multi-car crash after completing 12 of 20 laps, 26 races ago. In the SCRL Icebreakers Whelen Series, it's the 2nd for car #59 and the 11th for running at the finish. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 3rd for the #59 and the 145th for running at the finish.

After finishing last in his first ever Whelen start, Fitzwater has continued to struggle in the series, having gone winless in 26 starts with a best finish of 2nd in the second New Egypt race entering with only two races to go in the series. In the three previous races, Fitzwater has a best finish of 9th in the second Stafford event while finishing 21st in his first attempt in the first race while in the last time he visited Stafford, Fitzwater finished 19th.

On race day, Fitzwater rolled off starting 18th while first Stafford last-place finisher the #50 SMG Motoring Chevrolet of Samet Ozkan as his stay in the final spot would last only the first lap before he knocked the #12 Sherry Cup Chevrolet of Oreius Centaur into the final spot on Lap 2 when the very next lap, Fitzwater entered the battle for the first time on Lap 3. Fitzwater however wouldn't go down easy as he passed current SCRLASTCAR points leader the #57 M-M Stone Chevrolet of Danyal Gitirokh into the final spot on Lap 4, and had he not gained anymore spots, Gitirokh could have wrapped up the championship in the next round.

However by Lap 9, first Waterford last-place finisher the #1 DMC Auto Exchange Chevrolet of Anthony Lopez entered the battle but once again his stay didn't last as the very next lap, third Thompson last-place finisher the #52 Dari-Farms Ice Cream Chevrolet of Patrick Smith took the final spot and would hold it till Lap 12 when Gitirokh entered the battle for a second time on Lap 12 and held it till five laps to go when the battle quickly came to an end. Fitzwater had problems while running just inside the Top 15 as his car began to slow down the backstretch before stalling in Turn 3 and despite his car stalled on the track due to a flat left front tire, no caution came out while Fitzwater was towed to the pit road. Fitzwater's team was able to quickly put on four fresh tires and put him back out on the track, four laps behind, but he was able to take the Checkered Flag.

Finishing 24th was the aforementioned #57 of Danyal Gitirokh who also made a trip to the pit road in the last few laps. Finishing 23rd was the only other driver to not finish on the same lap as the race leaders Twin State last-place finisher the #48 A-Best Forklift Chevrolet of Bafode Sacko.

The remaining Bottom Five were able to finish on the same lap as race winner Sammy Sabre Jr.; 22nd was the #0 Stakey's Pumpkins / Jessup Chevrolet of Carter Friesen and 21st was the aforementioned #12 of Oreius Centaur.
