Formula 2: Early spin gives Devohn Blue the first last-place finish of his career at Catalunya

Devohn Blue picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Formula 2 Series career in Round 7 at Circuit de Catalunya when his #10 AT&T Williams completed all 8 laps under power.

The finish came in his 7th career start. In the SCRL Formula 2 Series, it's the 1st for car #10 and the 8th where the car was still running. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 17th for the #10 and the 213th where the car was still running. Blue had never competed in a SCRL race before the series made it's debut at Silvertone, and looking to make a big statement, Blue impressed by winning in his SCRL debut and finished 8th in the second round, before finishing 15th and 6th at Spa before finishing 14th in back-to-back races at Hungaroring.

On race day, Blue would roll off starting 12th while starting last was second Silverstone last-place finisher the #6 Red Bull Racing of Mark Owens, a position that Owens would hold for the first two laps before the next lap Owens would move up a spot and knocked Blue back into the final spot, a position that Blue would hold for the remaining laps.

Rounding out the Bottom Five were: 20th was the #1 Vodafone McLaren Mercedes of Mike Pearson, 19th was the aforementioned #6 of Mark Owens, 18th was the #18 Lotus F1 Racing of Chakat Whitelion and 17th was the #17 Scuderia Toro Rosso of Zachary Fitzwater Jr.
