Throwback CANADA: Nitahbk's broken camshaft at Delaware makes her first driver to fail to complete a lap in series history
Nitahbk picked up the 1st last place finish of her SCRL Tim Hortons Canadian Series career in the Season 1 Keystone Light 200 at the Delaware Speedway when her #48 Mid West Combustion Chevrolet fell out with camshaft problems without completing any of the 30 laps.
The finish came in her 3rd career series start. Nitahbk had at this point proven she belonged in the SCRL, having picked up 7 wins in the SCRL NASCAR Legends Series and was looking to continue that streak in the newest Canadian Series. Having signed on to complete in a part-time schedule, her first trip across the border was a decent finish of 9th at Mosport Speedway before choosing to bypass the twisting road course at Circuit ICAR and focus on the short track in Delaware, Ontario, Canada.
On race day, Nitabhk was scheduled to roll off starting in the 5th spot while the #98 Roofing Connection Chevrolet of Chris Kyle was to start in the final spot. As the field pulled off pit road, Nitahbk's car began to smoke as she quickly pulled down to the apron and followed the pace car down pit road and then into the garage as the field took the green. Nitahbk's car never passed the start/finish line, and once the crew found that the camshaft was broken, her day was done, becoming the first driver to fail to complete a lap.
Finishing 33rd was the #01 Canadian Tire / MotoMaster / Sylvania Dodge of Joe Jefferson, taken out in a Lap 7 crash that brought out the first caution. Finishing 32nd and 31st was the #04 Group Bellemare / GP3R Dodge of Luke Rainey and the #5 EMCO Dodge of Grayson Acevedo, both being involved in the 3rd caution that would knock both drivers out with eight laps to go.
Rounding out the Bottom Five was the #69 Lake Excavating / Cleanwerx Dodge of Colin Dryburgh, finishing two laps behind the race leaders after having been involved in two of the four cautions.
Nitahbk still continues to compete in select SCRL Series, having last run in Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 1, where she picked up two wins to bump her total up to 16 wins, which ranks her 5th on the all time win list, and finished 13th in points.

Lee's car would be towed back to pit road as the team looked over the car, despite being hit and flipping, the car actually had minor damage, and sent their driver back out on the track.
When racing resumed, chaos would break out quickly as Fitzwater Jr. had led the first two laps but spun out coming to take the green, quickly regaining control and driving up to try and take the lead back, Fitzwater Jr. made it three wide entering Turn 1 as the #20 HRT F1 Team of Tanner Bell made contact with Fitzwater Jr., sending him into the #8 Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro of Tracey Dent, sending both cars for a spin and crashing hard into the Turn 1 wall, bringing out the race ending caution. Formula 3: Battle for last a heated affair at Monza until late race wreck gives Brandon Brown the first last-place finish of his career
Brandon Brown picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Formula 3 Series career in Round 12 at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza when his #4 National Guard was involved in a multi-car crash after 5 of the 7 laps.
The finish came in his 12th career start. In the SCRL Formula 3 Series, it's the 1st for car #4 and the 2nd from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 11th for the #4 and the 234th from a crash. Brown is a brand new rookie that is looking to use the Formula 3 division as a stepping stone to one day complete against the very best in the SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series by becoming the first ever champion of the Formula 3 Series. Brown's racing career started off with a 2nd and a 20th at Catalunya, 17th and 3rd at Silverstone, 15th and 6th at Hockenheimring, 10th and 8th at Hungarioring, 2nd and 14th at Kyalami before finishing 11th in the last round at Monza.

Collins stay in last would last one lap as well when the #5 CITGO / PDVSA of Greg Torres took the final spot on Lap 3. Torres would remain in last for two laps and appeared he was going to finish last for the first time in his career when the battle for last ended very quickly.
While battling first Catalunya last-place finisher the #26 RC Cola of DJ Dogo for 9th entering Turn 8, Brown ran into the back of Dogo at the same time Dogo was going up the track, sending both cars for a spin, hitting the outside guard rail and sliding along the track. While Dogo was above to drive away and finish 17th, Brown's car was done for the day, having to be towed back to the garage, taking the final spot on Lap 5, with the car being listed as "out" just as the field took the white flag behind the pace car.

Just one lap after the field went back racing, yet another cash broke out on the backstretch, before another to break out in Turn 4 seconds later. This time, Nicholls was involved, running into the #21 unsponsored Chevrolet of Gavyn Moore, destroying both trucks and sending Nicholls nearly over into a flip. Nicholls and the #9 unsponsored Chevrolet of Laura Delano would both be done for the day, completing 6 laps and filling out the bottom two spots.
The remaining Bottom Five were drivers also involved in the hard crash, but were able to limp around to complete one more lap before they each pulled into the garage; 24th was the #4 unsponsored Chevrolet of AJ Jones, 23rd the aforementioned #21 of Gavyn Moore and 22nd was the #28 ETS / Engine Rebuilders Chevrolet of Caiden Irene.
