Jack Hallec picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series career in the Season 2 Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit when his #94 Sahara Force India F1 Team was involved in a multi-car crash without completing any of the 6 laps.
The finish came in his 1st career start. In the SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series, it's the 1st for car #94 and the 13th from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 4th for the #94 and the 226th from a crash. Despite the SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series being the highest class of single-seater auto racing sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), a few select rookies were allowed to race in the second season, with one of them being Hallec, who had never competed in a single SCRL race.
On race day, Hallec was scheduled to roll off 15th while starting in the final spot was the #27 Sahara Force India F1 Team of Riley Spurlytube but as soon as the cars began their lone pace lap, it was quickly discovered the track was unsafe to drive on due to the track surface being unable to drive on. As soon as the green flag waved, cars started to spin on the frontstretch, with Hallec being the first car, spinning right out in front of the #19 Williams Martini Racing of Patrick Smitch, as Hallec was hit in the door, sending his car flipping, while the #5 Scuderia Ferrari of Richard Torres would have no where to go and slammed into the two cars as well, ending all three drivers day without even getting into second gear.
Rounding out the Bottom Five were drivers who would crash on Lap 3 in Turn 5; 19th was the #20 Renault Sport F1 Team of Ty Dent and 18th was the #88 Manor Racing of Zachary Fitzwater.
