The finish came in his 6th career start. In the SCRL Formula E Series, it's the 1st for car #15 and the 8th from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 8th for the #15 and the 237th from a crash. Productions had competed in several series in the SCRL in the past but had been out of action for quite awhile before signing up to compete in the Formula E Series's second season. Productions finished 5th in his debut at Adelaide, 7th at Shanghai, 6th at Vancouver, 18th at Monaco before scoring his first career SCRL sanctioned win in the last round at Toronto.
On race day, Productions rolled off starting 10th while starting in the final spot was the #8 NTT Data / TNT Energy Drink of Eli Bright. The first lap around the two mile street course was calm but shortly after completing Lap 2, Productions would lose control and spin out, hitting the tire barriers. While he would limp back to the pits, Productions's day would be over after only two laps.
Finishing 22nd was the #9 Target of Mikali Kose, who also suffered a crash in the same Turn that Productions did just two laps later, limping across the start/finish line before pulling behind the wall as the leaders started Lap 6.
Rounding out the Bottom Five were drivers who finished on the same lap as the race leaders: 21st was the aforementioned #8 of Eli Bright, 20th was the #77 Lucas Oil / Protect the Harvest of Chakat Lightingblaze and 19th was the #11 Hydroxycut / Mistic eCigarettes / Circle K of Jay Jefferson.
