Formula 1: Jack Hallec trails in second straight race at Bahrain; becomes only the second driver to trail in back-to-back F1 races

Jack Hallec picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series career in the Season 2 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit when his #94 Sahara Force India F1 Team completed all 5 laps under power.

The finish, which came in his 2nd career start, was his first on the circuit since the Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit when he was involved in a multi-car crash without completing any of the 6 laps, 1 race ago. In the SCRL Red Bull Formula One Series, it's the 2nd for car #94 and the 6th were the car was running. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 5th for the #94 and the 204th where the car was still running. After trailing in the lackluster race at Melbourne, nearly every single team filed a protest to never return to the track until conditions were resolved at the track.

On race day, Hallec rolled off 15th while starting in the final spot was the #8 Haas F1 Team of Joseph Huffman. As the field took the green flag, it didn't take like for the battle for last to end, as Hallec would make contact with another car and damaged his right front wing. Limping back to the pits, Hallec's crew was able to put a new front wing on the car before sending their driver back out on the track, hoping another car would have trouble; it turned out that while there were a few minor spins, no other car would have problems, with Hallec finishing over two minutes behind the race leaders.

Rounding out the Bottom Five were drivers who would also finish the race on the lead lap; 21st was the aforementioned #8 of Joseph Huffman, 20th was Season 1 Champion the #12 Sauber F1 Team of Nick Kennedy, 19th was the #22 McLaren-Honda F1 Team of Trevor Collins and 18th was the #27 Sahara Force India F1 Team of Riley Spurlytube.

SCRLASTCAR STATISTICS
*This was the first time the #94 had finished last at Bahrain.
*This is only the second time in series history a driver has trailed back-to-back F1 races; the only other time it happened was in the Season 1 races at Mexico City and Hungaroring when HIPHOPANOUNMOUS trailed.
