Throwback Formula E: Gavyn Moore picks up lone last-place of brief SCRL career in caution free race at Mexico City

Gavyn Moore picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Formula E Series career in the Season 1 Mexico City ePrix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez when his #20 completed all 8 laps under power.

The finish came in his 1st career start. Moore was one of twenty two drivers who signed up to compete in the Formula secondary series that was to be run side-by-side with the SCRL Formula One Series.

On race day, Moore would roll off starting in the final spot and at the drop of the green flag, he quickly began to lose touch with the field as the power appeared to be down in his car. Over the eight caution free laps, Moore had fallen fifteen seconds to the race leaders, and easily scored his first last place-finish uncontested.

The remaining Bottom Five were: 21st the #26 of Keinan Busch, 20th was the #55 of James Barker, 19th was the #5 Jeff Bright and 18th was the #11 of Tommy Hudson.

Moore's career in the SCRL would be brief, competing in all 12 events on the Formula E Series, with a runner up finish at Long Beach in the sixth event of the season. In his last ever start for the league and series, Moore finished 11th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. He has not competed in a SCRL race since.
