Throwback ARCA TRUCK: Anthony Lopez trails the field for the fourth time at Lanier

Anthony Lopez picked up the 4th last place finish of his SCRL ARCA Truck Series career in the Season 1 Georgia 250 Presented by Jani-King at the Lanier National Speedway when his unsponsored #20 Chevrolet completed all 22 laps under power.

The finish, which came in his 8th career series start, was his first on the circuit since the Oxford Plains 150 at the Oxford Plains Speedway when he was involved in a multi-truck crash after 20 of the 25 laps, 1 race ago.

After trailing at Oxford Plains, Lopez rebounded by scoring back-to-back 7th place finishes at Gateway and in the last round at Eldora.

On race day, Lopez would roll off the field starting 11th while starting last was the #88 unsponsored Chevrolet of Davis Sylvester. A clear day in Georgia gave the crowd a great chance to watch the drivers of the ARCA Truck Series compete as two cautions would force the race to be extended by the Green, White, Checkered(GWC) rule. At that point, Lopez was running in the final spot and over the last two laps, he was unable to gain any positions and scored his fourth last-place finish of the season.

The remaining Bottom Five were; 25th was the #3 Gearhart Timber Management Chevrolet of Jon Burge, 24th was the unsponsored #9 Chevrolet of Laura Delano, 23rd was the #47 PB2 Chevrolet of Michael Matoushek and 22nd was the #28 ETS / Engine Rebuilders Chevrolet of Caiden Irene.

TRUCKS: Late race crash at Las Vegas gives Ben Crouch the second last-place finish of his SCRL career; Joshua Rush wins SCRLASTCAR Championship

Ben Crouch picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in Sunday's Sam's Town 250 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway when his #87 BellSouth Mobility Chevrolet was eliminated in a multi-truck accident after 13 of 19 laps.

The finish occurred in his 27th career series start. In the Truck Series, it's the 1st for the #87 and the 36th from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 4th for the #87 and 269th from a crash.

Ben entered the fourth ever season of the Truck Series having found success previous by scoring one win in his career, but he had never himself drove a truck before this season, but would sign to drive for NEMCO Motorsports for at least one season on a full-time ride schedule. Ben finished 10th at Walt Disney in his Truck Series debut, before scoring a 3rd at Homestead, 8th at Phoenix, 20th at Portland, 16th at Evergreen, 28th at I-70, 32nd at Watkins Glen, 22nd at Texas, 31st at Bristol, 15th at Milwaukee Mile, 25th at Nazareth, 15th at Fontana, 33rd at Pikes Peak, 9th at IRP, 10th at Loudon, 27th at Flemington, 18th at Nashville, 6th at Heartland Park, 14th at Louisville, 7th at Richmond, 24th at Memphis before in his 22nd career start, Ben would score his first Truck Series win at Gateway. After scoring his first career Truck win, Crouch would finish 17th at Martinsville, 29th at Sears Point, 21st at Mesa Marin before finishing 15th in the last round at Phoenix.

The entry list, for the 17th time this season, and second in a row, would be 37 trucks. Jay Jefferson would collect his second career series pole in qualifying, his first since Evergreen Speedway, by posting a time of 32.161 seconds, while Crouch would fair well in qualifying, posting a time of 32.252 seconds, 0.091 seconds behind Jefferson's pole winning time, placing Crouch in 10th position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was Nashville last-place finisher the unsponsored #60 Addington Racing Chevrolet of Christian Russell, who was 0.227 seconds behind Jefferson's lap time.

On race day, Russell would trail for only the first two turns before knocking Fontana last-place finisher the #2 Team ASE Racing Ford of Monika Flores into last. Flores would trail for the first two laps around the 1.5 mile track before she would knock two time last-place finisher the #88 PBA Tour Chevrolet of Carlos Rodriguez would fall back into last on Lap 3. The next time by the unsponsored #09 Greenfield Racing Dodge of Season 3 Champion Zachary Fitzwater would fall back to last on Lap 4, but his stay wouldn't be for long as the next circuit by he would knock the #16 NAPA Brakes Chevrolet of Chris Kyle into last on Lap 5. Kyle would trail for the next two laps before he would knock Homestead last-place finisher the #24 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet of Nathan Ormond into last on Lap 7. Next time by I-70 last-place finisher the #43 Cummins Engines Dodge of Marcus Saatchi would fall back to last on Lap 8, as Saatchi would trail the field for the next three laps till Lap 12 when he knocked Rodriguez back to last. Carlos's stay was once again only one lap as the next time by the start/finish line, the battle for last would come to an end as a multi-truck crash would break out.

Contact between the #15 Acxiom Ford of Colby Harris and Flores would cause Flores to come down the track and into Crouch, causing Crouch to slide up the track right into the path of the #28 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Jack Lagasee, causing Crouch's truck to flip over and lands on his roof, sliding across the start/finish line with Flores last on Lap 13. Crouch's truck had to be flipped over before the driver climbed out of the truck uninjured, but his truck was done for the day, as well as Ormond's, who was able to limb around the track and crossed the line before pulling behind the wall.

Finishing 35th was the #16 of Chris Kyle, who suffered a flat tire just before the field started the Green, White, Checkered and would fall one lap down behind the race leaders, but was able to finish the race under power.

The remaining Bottom Five would finish on the same lap as the race leaders; 34th was the aforementioned #2 of Monika Flores and 33rd was the #4 All American Museum Dodge of Daniel Bouchard.

By virtue of Crouch finishing last, Joshua Rush would lock up the SCRLASTCAR Championship on the strength of two last-place finishes at Milwaukee and Nazareth. It is Rush's first ever SCRLASTCAR Championship in his career.

The Season 4 SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series Championship went to Zachary Fitzwater, the second straight the driver, and fourth overall in his career, and the first for his team owner, Dick Greenfield. Fitzwater had no last-place finish in the season, with his worst finish of the seaosn being a 35th - coming at Gateway. Congratulations to Fitzwater and the Greenfield Racing team for having a great year and making history in the SCRL.

TRUCKS: Darren Allen crashes out early at Phoenix and into championship battle; SCRLASTCAR five-way battle set for Las Vegas

Darren Allen picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in Saturday's GM Goodwrench Service Plus / AC Delco 300 at the Phoenix International Raceway when his #99 Exide Batteries Ford was eliminated in a multi-truck accident after 2 of 32 laps.

The finish, which occurred in his 26th career series start, was his first on the circuit since the Ram Tough 200 Presented by Pepsi at the Gateway International Raceway when he was eliminated in a multi-truck accident after 14 of 22 laps; 4 races ago. In the Truck Series, it's the 4th for the #99 and the 35th from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 16th for the #99 and 268th from a crash.

After trailing for the first time in his career at Gateway, Allen would fight back with a 7th at Martinsville, 20th at the twisting road course of Sears Point before having to miss the last round at Mesa Marin as his Roush Racing team focused their truck on the one mile Phoenix track.

The entry list, for the 16th time this season, and the first since Martinsville, would be bumped back up to 37 entries. Points leader Zachary Fitzwater would collect his second career series pole in qualifying, his first since I-70 Speedway, a race he would win, by posting a time of 28.537 seconds, while Allen would struggle in qualifying, posting a time of 28.815 seconds, 0.278 seconds behind Fitzwater's pole winning time, placing Allen in 30th position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was the #00 Sprayer Auto Parts Chevrolet of Nick Kennedy, who was 0.383 seconds behind Kyle's lap time.

On race day, Kennedy would trail for the first lap around the mile track before the race's first caution would come out when two time last-place finisher the #3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus Chevrolet of Samet Ozkan would make contact with the #4 All American Museum Dodge of Daniel Bouchard which sent Ozkan up the track and into the #20 Orleans Hotel & Casino Chevrolet of Chakat Stripepaws, which would cause a chain reaction and broke out into a seven truck crash. While the wreck was happening, Allen stayed on the high side of the track to try and avoid the crash, but actually ran into Nashville last-place finisher the unsponsored #60 Addington Racing Chevrolet of Christian Russell, as it would damage the front end of Allen's truck, as he would limped back to the pits and into the garage. The team would look over the truck and found that the impact to Russell's truck had damaged the radiator, ending their day after only two laps.

Finishing 36th was two time last-place finisher the #75 Spears Manufacturing, who was also damaged in the same crash and while his team did make repairs to the truck, he was well off pace, losing a lap in the final stages and would fall back to the 36th spot.

Finishing 35th was the #98 Hastings Premium Filters Ford of Al Lagasee, who suffered a blown tire while running in 12th just seconds before the final caution of the race came out. While it prevented from Lagasee from going multiple laps down, he was able to remain one lap down and when the rest of the field caught Rush's slow truck, Lagasee was able to pass him easily as well and would finish above Rush.

The remaining Bottom Five would finish on the same lap as the race leaders; 34th was the #16 NAPA Brakes Chevrolet of Chris Kyle and 33rd was the aforementioned #20 of Chakat Stripepaws.

Entering the season finale at Las Vegas, mathematically only Joshua Rush, Darren Allen, Jay Jefferson, Samet Ozkan and Carlos Rodriguez can win the SCRLASTCAR Championship. If anyone but those four drivers trail at Vegas, it will give Rush the championship out right, but if either of the other four drivers can finish last, even if Rush finishes in the Bottom Five, they will win the championship.

SCRLASTCAR STATISTICS
*This is the first time the #99 has finished last in a Truck Series race at Phoenix.

THE BOTTOM FIVE

TRUCKS: Blown Engine prevents Jay Jefferson from completing a lap at Mesa Marin; enters battle for SCRLASTCAR Championship with two races to go

Jay Jefferson picked up the 2nd last place finish of his SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in Friday's Dodge California Truck Stop 300 at the Mesa Marin Raceway when his #8 PBA Tour Chevrolet fell out with engine issues without completing any of the 30 laps.

The finish, which occurred in his 94th career series start, was his first on the circuit since the Kroger 225 at the Louisville Motor Speedway when he completed 21 of the 23 laps under power; 6 races ago. In the Truck Series, it's the 3rd for the #8 and the 15th for engine issues. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 22nd for the #8 and 58th for engine issues.

After trailing for the first time in his four year truck career at Louisville, Jay would bounce back with a 13th place finish at Richmond before he would struggle in the next three races with a 22nd at Memphis, 32nd at Gateway and a 31st at Martinsville. For the third and final road course event of the season, Jay would survive all the wrecks and a record 5 Green, White, Checkers to cross the line in a respectable 7th at Sears Point.

The entry list, for the first time since Louisville, would be cut down to only 31 trucks for the ninth and final time in Season 4, with the final two events at Phoenix and Las Vegas being able to hold all 37 entries. Chris Kyle would collect his third career series pole in qualifying, posting a time of 16.399 seconds, while Jay would struggle in qualifying, posting a time of 16.833 seconds, 0.434 seconds behind Kyle's pole winning time, placing Jay in 27th position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was the #44 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Chase Harris, who was 0.473 seconds behind Kyle's lap time.

On race day as drivers began their lone pace lap around the half mile track, Jefferson's truck instantly started to smoke, with the driver on the inside line he would quickly move out of the way of the drivers behind him and pulled to the inside of the track, following the pace truck down pit lane as the field took the green flag. Jefferson would pull into the garage and not his pit stall as his ThorSport Racing crew rushed behind the wall to see what the problem was. Jay climbed out of the truck obviously in disgust, with the team looking over the truck for a few minutes before deciding there was nothing to be done, with Jay being listed as "Out" by the 7th lap.

The remaining Bottom Five would finish on the same lap as the race leaders; 30th was the #20 Orleans Hotel & Casino Chevrolet of Chakat Stripepaws, 29th was the aforementioned #44 of Chase Harris, 28th was Richmond last-place finisher the #7 Prime Performance Chevrolet of Chakat Lightingblaze and 27th was Martinsville last-place finisher the #6 RE/MAX International Chevrolet of Dilan Ebrahimian.

With two races to go in the season, Jay has now joined Joshua Rush, Carlos Rodriguez and Samet Ozkan with two last-place finishes a piece on the season. If anyone other then those three drivers finishes last at Phoenix, it could set up a five driver battle at Las Vegas, but if Rush or Jay finishes last at Phoenix, they could lock up the championship with one race to go.

The finish occurred in his 16th career series start. In the Truck Series, it's the 1st for the #89 and the 14th for engine issues. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 2nd for the #89 and 57th for engine issues.

During qualifying there were 11 drivers that would not post a time due to inspections taking to long for some drivers, so starting last on race day was Pikes Peak last-place finisher the #77 Doran Racing Enterprises Chevrolet of Bob Jenkins.

On race day as drivers began their lone pace lap around the 1.949 mile road course, Pritchard's truck started to smoke as the field reached Turn 4 as he would pull out to try and not get any old on the track, reporting to his team that something was wrong under the hood. At the same time, Memphis last-place finisher the #50 Grainger Ford Cameron Hathaway, who also started to slow in the esses, reporting that he had a flat left front tire. Both drivers pulling onto pit road as the race began, with Pritchard pulling behind the wall as his team looked over the truck, while Hathaway's team quickly put on four fresh tires and sent their driver back out onto the track as the field reached Turn 4.

At that same time, the #20 Orleans Hotel & Casino Chevrolet of Chakat Stripepaws would be spun out by two time last-place finisher the #3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus Chevrolet of Samet Ozkan in Turn 4 as Ozkan would be able to continue on with minor damage, while Stripepaws's truck would be destroyed from hitting the tire barrier. As the field raced toward Turn 10, I-70 last-place finisher the #43 Cummins Engines Dodge of Marcus Saatchi would make contact with Homestead last-place finisher the #24 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet of Nathan Ormond, sending both trucks off track and hard into the tire barrer, bringing out the race's first caution. After some brief confusion on who would be scored where, Pritchard's truck would be listed as "out" on the second lap with Stripepaws being scored in 37th, following by Saatchi and Ormond, all being scored having not completed a lap.

Dilian would sign up to compete in his first ever truck series season. Dilian's truck would be towed back to the pits and into his stall before the race started and the team would look over his truck, discovering that the engine problem was in fact terminal, with the team pushing Dilian behind the wall and the driver climbing out of his truck disappointed, but it wasn't until Lap 7 that the truck was listed as "out" on scoring.

Finishing 36th was Richmond last-place finisher the #7 Prime Performance Chevrolet of Chakat Lightingblaze, who would be involved in the race's first caution on Lap 1 as shi tried to avoid the spinning Nashville last-place finisher the unsponsored #60 Addington Racing Chevrolet of Christian Russell, but wasn't quick enough as Lightingblaze would destroy the left front of hir truck. Kennedy was obviously very livid on the radio, not only at the officials for throwing the caution before the race went back green, but also as Rush for stalling on the track and not the access road. Kennedy would drive his truck back around and would cross the start/finish line to be scored competing eight laps, but would pull into the garage and done for the day.

The finish occurred in his 21st career series start. In the Truck Series, it's the 1st for the #50 and the 11th for camshaft issues. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 9th for the #50 and 37th for camshaft issues.

Entering the fourth ever season of the Truck Series, Hathaway had never competed in a SCRL sanctioned race, so he was going to have a lot of pressure as he signed a won year contract to drive for Jack Roush and his two truck team. In his first ever SCRL started, Hathaway would finish 23rd after being involved in the race's Big One on Lap 7. A 36th at Homestead would be his second straight bad run before he scored his first Top 5, a 4th at Phoenix before finishing 24th at Portland, 9th at Evergreen, 13th at I-70, 20th at Watkins Glen, 12th at Texas before scoring a career best 3rd at Bristol, the same race his teammate Darren Allen would score his first win of his career, and the first for Roush Racing in Season 4 of the Truck Series. A 17th at Milwaukee, 29th at Nazareth, 6th at Fontana, 12th at Pikes Peak, 24th at IRP, 9th at Loudon, 15th at Flemington, 4th at Nashville, 28th at Heartland Park, 20th at Louisville before finishing 35th in the last round at Richmond.

The entry list for the 13th time this season, and the second race in a row, would be 37 trucks. Nick Kennedy would collect his first career series pole in qualifying, posting a time of 23.264 seconds, while Hathaway would struggle just a little bit in qualifying, post a time of 23.379 seconds, and while Hathway was only 0.115 seconds behind Kennedy's pole winning time, it would place Hathaway in the 17th position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was the #89 Precision Automotive Ford of Ryan Pritchard, who was 0.310 seconds behind Kennedy's lap time.

On race day, Pritchard would trail for the first two turns around the 0.750 mile track before knocking Flemington last-place finisher the #5 Llumar Window Films Chevrolet of Chakat Whitelion into the final spot for the first lap, but on the next lap Whitelion would knock the #52 Purolator PureOne Filters Chevrolet of Blaise Zebrataur into last on Lap 2. Blaise would fight back and the very next lap he would put the #87 BellSouth Mobility Chevrolet of Ben Crouch into last on Lap 3, and the next Lap on Lap 4 the #44 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Chase Harris would fall into last before the next lap the #16 NAPA Brakes Chevrolet of Chris Kyle fell into last on Lap 5. Kyle would trail for two laps before he finally was able to knock Pikes Peak last-place finisher the #77 Doran Racing Enterprises Chevrolet of Bob Jenkins into last on Lap 7. Jenkins would trail for one lap before he too would also knock the #28 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Jack Lagasee into the final spot on Lap 8.

The race's lone caution would come out just one lap later for a two truck spin on the Frontstretch, but Lagasee would remain in the final spot. As the field followed the pace truck around under yellow, Hathaway, who had climbed up 7th, suddenly began to start smoking as the field went down the backstretch, with the driver pulling on the access road and then onto the pits and into his stall as the crew looked over his truck briefly before pushing it behind the wall. After several minutes of looking over the truck, it was discovered the truck had broken the camshaft and their day was done, with Hathaway being listed as "out" on Lap 12, but wouldn't take the final spot till one lap later.

The remaining Bottom Five would finish on the same lap as the race leaders; 36th was the #15 Acxiom Ford of Colby Harris, 35th was Loudon last-place finisher the #19 Pennzoil Ford of Chakat Raindancer, 34th was I-70 last-place finisher the #43 Cummins Engines Dodge of Marcus Saatchi and 33rd was the aforementioned #28 of Jack Lagasee.

TRUCKS: Early crash at Richmond gives Chakat Lightingblaze the second last-place finish of hir career

Chakat Lightingblaze picked up the 1st last place finish of hir SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in Monday's Virginia Is For Lovers 200 at the Richmond International Raceway when hir #7 Prime Performance Chevrolet was eliminated in a multi-truck accident after 2 of 22 laps.

The finish occurred in his 20th career series start. In the Truck Series, it's the 3rd for the #7 and the 33rd from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 16th for the #7 and 266th from a crash.

Entering his fourth ever season in the Truck Series, Lightingblaze had never driven a truck before, having made hir debut in the SCRL Sun Energy Whelen Euro Elite 2 series and would find success right off the bat by winning in hir first two starts, at Red Bull Ring and Monaco. Since making an impact since hir debut, Lightingblaze has gone on to score two other wins that moved hir up to a total of 4 wins, but along the way shi also scored the first last-place finish of hir career in the SCRL Formula E Series Presented by Twitter season finale the Surfers ePrix at Surfers Paradise when hir #77 Lucas Oil / Protect the Harvest fell out with fuel pump problems after completing 4 of the 6 laps. Lightingblaze would sign on to drive for originally Mattei Motorsports, the same team, under the original name of Geoff Bodine Racing, that Jay Barker had won the inaugural truck series Chapionship in Season 1. However for the race's first event of the season at Walt Disney World, where shi finished 27th after being caught up in a early crash, Mattei Motorsports was sold to Jim Clark and the team was renamed Prime Performance Motorsports.

With the truck painted a new white color, Lightingblaze would debut the new truck in the next round at Homestead, a race shi finished 22nd. A 25th at Phoenix, 16th at Portland, before scoring the best finish of hir truck career, a 3rd at Evergreen. The next three races would be good for Lightingblaze with a 8th at I-70, a runner up finish at 2nd at Watkins Glen and a 5th at Texas, before finishing a disappointing 32nd at Bristol. A 4th at Milwaukee Mile, a 15th at Nazareth, 21st at Fontana, 26th at Pikes Peak, before scoring hir second runner up finish at IRP. The entry list for the 12th time this season, and the first since Loudon, would be 37 trucks. However there would be one driver change as Tyler Jet Motorsports decided to shut their team down due to sponsorship issues, just after Chakat Snowchaser, who finished 4th at Heartland Park, and was 2nd in points. With only a few days to find a ride before drivers headed to Richimond, Snowchaser was able to find a ride and would sign a contract to race for the remaining races o the season by driving for Gloy/Rahal Racing and pilot their #55 Icehouse Beer Ford.

Celious Wolf would collect his series leading third career pole in qualifying, posting a time of 20.823 seconds, while Lightingblaze would struggle in qualifying, post a time of 21.042 seconds, 0.219 seconds behind Wolf's pole winning time, which would place Lightingblaze in the 35th position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was the #28 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Jack Lagasee, who was 0.257 seconds behind Wolf's lap time.

Christian Russell stalls on pit road.
On race night, as the field began their lone pace lap around the twisting 0.750 mile short track, Nashville last-place finisher the unsponsored #60 Addington Racing Chevrolet of Christian Russell would stall on pit road, with the cause of the problem being a flat tire. As the field took the green flag, Russell's team would work on the truck as the race's first caution would come out rather fast when a multi-truck spin broke out on the frontstretch. As drivers raced back to the start/finish line, the #16 NAPA Brakes Chevrolet of Chris Kyle would make contact with Evergreen last-place finisher the #14 Circle Bar Motel & RV Park Ford of Mitchell Collins, sending both trucks for a spin that would also collect the #15 Acxiom Ford of Colby Harris and Texas last-place finisher the #90 NHL Dodge of Muhammad Zain Abdullah. As the trucks slid down the track, Lightingblaze tried to find a hole to get through but the space was gone when shi got there and slammed into Abdullah's truck. Lightingblaze would limp back around to pit road and then pulled into the garage, the truck was looked over by hir team briefly before it was retired, listed as "out" on Lap 4 but wouldn't fall into last on the race's seventh lap.

Russell's team was able to get his truck back out on track on the third lap and would start beside the leaders when the race went green to try and get his lap out, but while racing hard with leader Celious Wolf, Russell would be spun out and smacked the inside wall with the driver's door before coming back across the track in front of the the field, causing a multi truck crash in Turn 3 and Turn 4 as Russell's truck was destroyed, placing him 36th on the night.

The remaining Bottom Five would be taken out in the same crash but would be scored having competed 8 laps; 35th was the #50 Grainger Ford of Cameron Hathway, 34th was the #44 Federated Auto Parts Ford of Chase Harris and 33rd was points leader the unsponsored #09 Greenfield Racing Dodge of Season 3 Champion Zachary Fitzwater.

TRUCKS: Flat tire keeps Riley Spurlytube trapped a lap down at Heartland Park; ties Greg Lee for most last-place finishes in the Truck Series

Riley Spurlytube picked up the 4th last place finish of his SCRL Rainbow Dash Truck Series career in Tuesday's Lund Look 275K at Heartland Park Topeka when his #22 Red Dog Ford completed 8 of the 9 laps under power.

The finish, which occurred in his 81st career series start, was hir first on the circuit since the Season 2 Craftsman 200 at the Portland Speedway when his #15 L.C. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 17th for the #22 and 281st where the vehicle was still running.

Entering his fourth ever season in the Truck Series, Spurlytube has built up a great career, having scored 15 total wins in the SCRL, but had yet to score a championship in the SCRL and was hoping that would turn around in Season 4 as he signed to driver for Roger Penske. On race day as the field began their lone pace lap around the twisting 2.100 mile road course, Spurlytube's truck stalled on pit road, with the cause of the problem being a flat tire. The field would circle back around the track and took the green flag with Spurlytube's team working on the truck as the field raced around the track, as the team had trouble getting the jack under before finally getting it as the field entered Turn 12 before putting four fresh tires and sending their driver back out on the track just as the leaders lapped him. Spurlytube was able to keep up with the leaders and actually had one of the fastest laps as a scoring error actually scored Spurlytube in 11th before it was finally fixed, and with a rather calm and uneventful race that no cautions would come out, Spurlytube would trail from flag to flag.

The finish, which occurred in hir 62nd career series start, was hir first on the circuit since the Season 3 Pennzoil Discount Center 200 at the New Hampshire International Speedway when hir #18 Dana Corporation Dodge was involved in a multi-truck crash after 1 of 26 laps, 34 races ago. In the Truck Series, it's the 1st for the #5 and the 22nd where the truck was still running. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 18th for the #5 and 279th where the vehicle was still running.

Whitelion is a future first class ballot Hall of Famer when shi decides to hang up hir helmet for the final time. Entering hir third full time season in the Truck Series, Whitelion has picked up 32 career wins and has collected 7 championships, while at the same time, shi has trailed the field a record 18 times in hir career, a league record. Whitelion had never scored a single win in hir previous 46 truck starts, but shi had high hopes as shi signed to drive for Mike Skinner in a attempt at hir 8th overall championship. Whitelion would struggle in hir first two races of the season, finishing a disappointing 22nd at Walt Disney World and a 29th at Homestead, before rebounding with a 11th at Phoenix before once again struggling with a 25th at Portland, collecting hir first Top 10 of the season, a 6th at Evergreen, a 14th at I-70, a 21st at Watkins Glen, 10th at Texas before finishing 14th at Bristol. In the very next round at Milwaukee Mile, Whitelion would qualify 2nd and would take the lead with eleven laps to go and scored hir league setting 33rd career win but shi wasn't done yet at shi would win the next round at Nazareth for win #34 before winning a third time at Fontana for hir 35th career win. A disappointing 23rd at Pikes Peak would end hir chance of winning four in a row, followed by a 17th at IRP before finishing a disappointing 24th in the race one year prior shi had scored hir lone last-place finish in the Truck Series.

Despite the fact that Harris had spun out, the race went green anyway as Whitelion's crew looked under the hood and found that the brakes had gone out. As the field raced their way around the track, Whitelion's crew would solve the problem and sent their driver back out onto the track, five laps behind the race leaders. Despite Whitelion having one of the faster trucks after the pit stop, the caution would never fly during the event and shi was unable to gain any spots for the rest of the event.

The finish occurred in hir 11th career series start. In the Truck Series, it's the 2nd for the #19 and the 2nd for header issues. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 12th for the #19 and 23rd for header issues.

Raindancer is still building hir career in the SCRL, while shi has found success in the ISCR, shi had made one previous start in his career, a race shi would actually trail for hir first career last-place finish. Despite having only one career start in hir career, Raindancer would sign to drive on a part-time ride with driving for Roehrig Motorsports. Raindancer would choose to skip the first race of the season at Walt Disney World, making hir Truck Series debut in the event's second race of the season at Homested, a race Raindancer finished 34th in. A poor finish of 31st at Phoenix would stay with the team as they would skip the next three events before returning at the season's first road course race, a event Raindancer would finish 18th place. A 23rd at Texas, a 18th at Bristol, 23rd at the Milwaukee Mile, before shi scored hir first career SCRL top 10, a 8th at Nazareth. A 35th place finish at Fontana would be followed by a 19th at Pikes Peak before finishing 12th in the last round at IRP.

The entry list for the 11th time this season would be 37 trucks. Pikes Peak last-place finisher Bob Jenkins would collect his first career pole of his career in qualifying, posting a time of 33.611 seconds, while Raindancer would struggle, posting a time of 33.933, while only 0.322 seconds behind Jenkins's pole winning time, it placed hir a disappointing 23rd position. Posting the slowest time during qualifying was the #15 Acxiom Ford of Colby Harris, who posted a time of 34.526, a time that was 0.593 seconds behind Jenkins's pole time.

On race day, as the field made their lone pace lap around the one mile track, Raindancer's truck began to instantly smoke as shi was forced to pull to the inside of pit road and was forced to ride all around the track on the apron, following the pace truck on pit road before shi pulled behind the wall as the field took the green flag. After looking over the truck for nearly ten minutes, it was decided to retire the truck, with the truck being listed as "out" due to a broken header after six laps had been completed.

Finishing 36th was the unsponsored #60 Addington Racing Chevrolet of Christian Russell who, while running in 18th, suffered brake failing while entering Turn 1. Russell turned his truck quickly to the right and slid into the wall with the right side of his truck, bringing out the race's first caution of the day. After limping back around the track, Russell would lose two laps to the race leaders before the problem was finally fixed, but despite Russell's team hard work, they were unable to move up any positions.

Finishing 35th was the #20 Orleans Hotel & Casino Chevrolet of Chakat Stripepaws, who suffered a broken Piston just before the race was extended by way of the Green, White, Checkered Rule.

The remaining Bottom Five would both finish two laps down from the race leaders; 34th was the #99 Exide Batteries Ford of Darren Allen and 33rd was the #7 Prime Performance Chevrolet of Chakat Lightingblaze.
