Throwback: LEGENDS: Chris Kyle gets first last place finish; tryhard_ak74 gets his lone win

Chris Kyle picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL NASCAR Legends Series career in at the Wilkes 400 at the North Wilkesboro Speedway when his #98 Jim Robbins Ford completed 38 of the 40 laps under power.

The finish came in his 23rd career start.

Chris Kyle came into the SCRL, then named ONL(Oreius Nascar Leagues), with much fanfare as he himself is a successful league owner on YouTube, Kyle was looking to make his mark in the ONL at the time.

Starting last at North Wilkesboro was Graham, driving the #61 Hoss Ellington car, but he wouldn't be there for long as he would work his way up out of the 35th position as up front soon to be crowned champion Truttle was putting a stomping on the field while the battle in the back was over by lap 10.

Chris Kyle's Talladega Torino would suffer a battery issue and would trail the field, losing not one but two laps before his crew would get him back out on the track. Due to no cautions flying, Kyle was left to finish last, the only car two laps down as tryhard_ak74 would take the lead with three laps to go and score his first and only career ONL win.

Chris Kyle continues to host his own YouTube league, NR Leagues, while still competing part-time in the SCRL with his most recent start being a 8th in the SCRL CatDog Pro Series East at Daytona.

On a sadder note, North Wilkesboro would be tryhard_ak74's only time in the sun as he would retire from racing shortly after the end of the season before passing away in 2016.
