Much like in the East event earlier in the evening, a wreck would break out on the Backstretch as Jones and the #42 Freightliner of Arizona Chevrolet of Eddie Wycombe made contact spinning both cars out as Jones would make contact with first the #01 itxtdeals.com Ford of Greg Lee and then Mesa Marin race winner of the #15 of D.J. Kurtis as Jones's night would be done after only two nights.

Due to no cautions flying, Kyle was left to finish last, the only car two laps down as tryhard_ak74 would take the lead with three laps to go and score his first and only career ONL win.

Chris Kyle continues to host his own YouTube league, NR Leagues, while still competing part-time in the SCRL with his most recent start being a 8th in the SCRL CatDog Pro Series East at Daytona.

On a sadder note, North Wilkesboro would be tryhard_ak74's only time in the sun as he would retire from racing shortly after the end of the season before passing away in 2016.

EAST: Luke Rainey trails field in caution free race at Daytona

Luke Rainey picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL CatDog Pro Series East career in Monday's Battle at the Beach at the Daytona International Speedway when his #1 NASCAR Technical Institute / UTI Toyota completed all of the 20 laps under power.

The finish came in his 1st career start.

Luke Rainey came into the series with two wins in his career and after a successful season in the SCRL Stricky Stock Series where he finished 5th in points, was looking to continue his momentum.

Kevin McHugh would start last on the grid but his stay in the back would be short lived as Simon Fox would trail the field for laps 1 and 2. Sebastian Torres would be in last for the 3rd lap, Zapatos Amarrados for the 4th, Jack Lagasse for the 5th before Amarrados would take it back on the 6th before losing it on the 7th to Cam Nixey.

Alexander Rowe entered the battle as his car slowed in Turn 4 and would be in last for laps 8-10 before Gustavo Arocha would take last for the 11th lap. Luke Rainey, a two time SCRL race winner would then slip back into last for laps 12-14 as Maria Valera would slow herself and take the last position for lap 15 before starting her car back up.

Diego Yepez would trail the field on Laps 16 and 17, Rodriguez Zapatos on the 18th before Rainey would claim the last spot for losing the draft in the final laps to seal down last place and became the first driver to finish last in a SCRL CatDog Pro Series East race.
