BUSCH: Wreck seconds after the green flag sends Michael Creed rolling for his first career last-place finish; becomes 10th driver to fail to complete a lap

Michael Creed picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL Busch Grand National Series career in Saturday's Budweiser 200 at the Dover Downs International Speedway when his #3 Wendy's Chevrolet was eliminated in a multi-car accident without completing any of the 30 laps.

The finish occurred in his 6th career series start. In the SCRL Busch Series, it's the 2nd for car #3 and the 32nd from a crash. Across all the series in the SCRL, it's the 21st for the #3 and 278th from a crash.

Entering Season 3 of the Busch Series, Creed has no past experience in the SCRL and his past history of racing is unknown as well, but he had somehow found his way into the SCRL, signing on to complete part-time this season, with hopes of possibly going full in Season 4. Creed's season started with a impressive 3rd place at Daytona after leading two laps early, after his team chose to skip Richmond, Creed came back with a 24th at Rockingham before again skipping the next round at Hickory, coming back to finish 38th at Martinsville after a early spin. A 39th at Darlington would force Creed's team to work on their cars and setup, skipping the races at Orange County, Nashville and Langley before returning in the last round at Milwaukee, a race Creed would finish 9th.

The entry list for the sixth time this season would be the full drivers and part-time drivers traveling to Delaware in the series first ever stop at the tough and challenging one mile track.

In qualifying, reigning ARCA Midget Series Champion Sebastian LeNoble won his first busch pole with a lap time of 21.932 seconds. Creed would preform decent in qualifying, posting a time of 22.023, 0.091 seconds off LeNoble's pole, placing him 15th overall. Posting the slowest time in qualifying was the #87 Domino's Pizza Chevrolet of Dilan Ebrahimian, who posted a time of 22.145 seconds, 0.213 seconds behind LeNoble's pole winning time.

On race day, Ebrahimian would trail for the first two turns on the one mile track before the battle for last would come to a quick end. As the field raced down the backstretch, Milwaukee Mile last-place finisher the #2 Kopy King Pontiac of Derek Greene was racing three wide with the unsponsored #1 Lindy White Racing Pontiac of David Beyers and two time last-place finisher the #48 Williford Prod. Builders Pontiac of Matt McIntyre as the three cars would make contact and would clip the #13 D & D Tattooing Pontiac of Chakat Blackpaw, causing hir to spin out, clipping Creed's car as well, causing a chain reaction that would end with Creed getting hit in the driver's door by the #45 Luck Stone / Dryden Oil Pontiac of Boston Jones, sending Creed into a flip before landing on all four wheels. Both Creed and Blackpaw's cars were severely damaged in the wreck and had to be towed back to the garage, both cars being scored as having not completed a lap and would be listed as "out" by Lap 4, with Creed being placed in the final spot.

Finishing in 38th was the #45 of Boston Jones, who was able to limp around on the apron for two laps before pulling behind the wall.

Rounding out the Bottom Five were drivers who would be taken out in the Lap 15 "Big One"; 37th was the #22 Miller High Life Oldsmobile of Tyler Ferris and 36th was the #24 Komfort Koach / Budweiser Ford of Michael Brown.
