The finish came in his 3rd career start. After finishing a disappointing 19th in his series debut at Riverside, dragonboy responded in the next round by finishing 7th at Ontario as the series moved across the country to Richmond, Virginia for the first ever short track event of the season.
On race day, dragonboy would roll off starting in the 14th spot while the #32 Bestline Products Plymouth of Draco Drakul would start in the last spot when the green flag fell. Much like with all of Season 1, results and information are hard to come by, but it is known that by the time the Checkered Flag flew, dragonboy had fallen two laps down and scored his first-last place finish.
Finishing 19th was the #6 unsponsored Dodge of Nitahbk, who also finished two laps down, 18th was the aforementioned #32 of Draco Drakul, 17th was the #34 unsponsored Ford of Trail Blazer and rounding out the Bottom Five in 16th was Atecom, all of whom who finished one lap down.
The career of dragonboy would turn out to be successful as he would pick up four career wins as well as picking up a championship, winning the Season 2 IROC Championship. Currently dragonboy hasn't competed in years, having left the league to do other things.
