Throwback LEGENDS: dragonboy becomes the first driver to trail the field twice at Rockingham

dragonboy picked up the 2nd last place finish of his ONL NASCAR Legends Series career in the Season 1 Carolina 500 at the North Carolina Motor Speedway when his #64 Woodfield Ford completed all 49 laps under power.

The finish came in his 4th career start, was his first on the circuit when he completed 48 of the 50 laps of the Richmond 500 at the Richmond Fairgrounds Raceway, 1 race ago. After finishing last at Richmond just one race before, dragonboy was looking for redemption as the circuit moved to the one mile circuit as for the first time the series raced at the North Carolina track.

On race day, dragonboy would roll off starting in the 19th spot while Atecom would start in the final spot. During the 49 lap event, no cautions would fly and dragonboy would lose ground with the rest of the field, while not falling a lap down, dragonboy did trail the field and was last once the Checkered Flag flew.

Finishing 19th was the #30 unsponsored Dodge of ItalianDragon, finishing 18th was the aforementioned Atecom, finishing 17th was the #34 unsponsored Ford of Trail Blazer and rounding out the Bottom Five in 16th was Riverside last-place finisher the #24 Casa Linda / Sahara Motel Ford of Chakat Whitelion.
