Anthony Lopez picked up the 1st last place finish of his SCRL ARCA Truck Series career in the Season 1 Safety Kleen 50 at the Toledo Speedway when his #20 unsponsored Chevrolet completed all 20 laps under power.
The finish came in his 1st career series start. The secondary series in the SCRL ARCA division, the SCRL ARCA Truck Series, was run side-by-side with the SCRL Lucas Oil ARCA Racing Series, those who missed signing up from the main series signed up for a smaller schedule and smaller field while competing for a championship.
On race day, Lopez would roll off the field starting last when the green flag fell and just as fast as the race went by, Lopez lost ground with the rest of the field, trailing by five seconds before Lap 9, 6 second by Lap 15 and by the time the Checkered Flag fell, Lopez had fallen to nine seconds behind, more then a full second behind the closest driver.
The remaining Bottom Five were filled by drivers who finished on the same lap as race leaders; 25th was the #05 Little Mountain Insurance Ford of Toot Braunsteain, 24th was the #50 Corona Extra / Goosebumps Ford of Jimmy Potter, 23rd was the #91 DeSales U Chevrolet of Chakat Whitelion and finishing 22nd was the #28 ETS / Engine Rebuilders Chevrolet of Caiden Irene.
