Throwback LEGENDS: Sicarius becomes first driver to trail field due to a mechanical problem in series first race at Michigan

Sicarius picked up the 1st last place finish of his ONL NASCAR Legends Series career in the Season 1 Motor State 400 at the Michigan International Speedway when his #4 Mills Plumbing Dodge suffered engine problems after completing 12 of the 20 laps.

The finish, came in his 12th career series start. 

In his series debut for the league, Sicarius finished a respectable 11th at Riverside, a position he would top just three races later by finishing 5th at Rockingham, which would be his career best while also having some struggles finishing 18th at Ontario and Bristol before finishing next to last at Talladega, and in his most recent race, he finished an 11th at Martinsville as the series traveled to Michigan for the first time in series history.

On race day, Sicarius would roll off the grid starting a career best 2nd, while starting last was the #30 unsponsored Dodge of ItalianDragon. Much of the stats for the race have been lost, but by the end of the event, Sicarius's engine had blown up on Lap 12 and his first ever last-place finish was his, as he was the only retiree of the event.

The remaining Bottom Five finished on the same lap as the race leaders: 19th was Atecom, 18th was the aforementioned #30 of ItalianDragon, 17th was the #40 7-Up Plymouth of Dinkdrinker and finishing 16th was the #11 Don Wagner Ford of Onuki.

Sicarius's career in the then ONL(now SCRL) would find him only competing in the NASCAR Legends series, never visiting victory lane, but scoring a career best 3rd at North Wilkesboro in Season 2. In his final career start, he started 20th and finished 24th at the Texas World Speedway, and has not competed in a SCRL sancationed race since.
