Umbreon picked up the 1st last place finish of his ONL NASCAR Legends Series career in the Season 1 Talladega 500 at the Alabama International Motor Speedway when his #48 Mullins Ford completed all 18 laps under power.
The finish came in his 19th career series start.
In his series debut for the league, Umbreon started 6th at Riverside, but finished a disappointing 15th. A finish of 3rd at Thompson would be Umbreon's best of the finish so far in his career, while in the previous round at Michigan, he finished 13th entering the second ever event at the 2.660 superspeedway, a track where Umbreon finished 5th in the spring event.
On race day, Umbreon would roll off the grid starting last and by Lap 2 Umbreon had fallen more than two seconds behind the race leaders, and due to the lack of no cautions or other drivers falling out, Umbreon was uncontested for the remaining laps.
The remaining Bottom Five finished on the same lap as the race leaders; finishing 19th was summer Michigan last-place finisher the #17 East Tenn. Motor Co. Ford of Packersrock2010, 18th was the #34 unsponsored Ford of Trail Blazer, 17th was the #11 Don Wagner Ford of Onuki and finishing 16th was #22 unsponsored Dodge of Marloc.
Umbreon would never enjoy the taste of victory lane in the ONL(now SCRL) Legends series in 54 career starts, but he would score a runner up finish in the second Charlotte event in Season 1. A finish of 6th would be his best finish in Season 2. Umbreon however would visit victory lane one time in his career, coming in the ONL Classic Busch Series at Chicagoland. Umbreon hasn't competed in a series in the SCRL for several years and the status of the driver in unknown.
