ItalianDragon picked up the 3rd last place finish of his ONL NASCAR Legends Series career in the Season 1 Dixie 500 at the Atlanta International Raceway when his #30 unsponsored Dodge completed all 32 laps under power.
The finish came in his 17th career start, was his first on the circuit since he completed all 20 laps of the Greenville 200 at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway; 3 races ago.
After finishing last at Greenville-Pickens, ItalianDragon finished 18th in the very next round at Thompson before tying his career best finish of 7th earlier in the season at Bristol, by finishing 7th again in the last round in the return trip to Bristol.
On race day, ItalianDragon would roll off starting in the last spot, much like he had in the first Atlanta race and by the time the Checkered Flag flew, Dragon remained in the final spot as he became the first driver to sweep a track in one season in league and series history.
The Remaining Bottom Five all finished on the same lap as the race leaders; 19th was the #11 Don Wagner Ford of Onuki, 18th was four time last-place finisher the #64 Woodfield Ford of dragonboy, 17th was the debuting wolfmoon, who took over the #06 Warren Fox Dodge after bigdaddy RCN was released from the ride after Bristol and finished 16th was spring Riverside last-place finisher the #24 Casa Linda / Sahara Motel Ford of Chakat Whitelion.
Season 1 would be a disappointment for the most part for ItalianDragon, scoring three last-place finishes, but would actually only retire from one event(the fall Rockingham event) and would score one Top 5, a 5th at Texas World, and 10 Top 10 finishes, which would place him 18th in the overall point standings. ItalianDragon hasn't competed in a SCRL race since.
